The scenic Austrian town of Kitzbuhel is loved by adventure seekers and spa lovers alike with its majestic mountains and luxurious hotels. It is also home to Airgasmo – a skydiving center offering jumps over the Austrian Alps.

The Problem

General Manager Alex Thomson realized that business was going well when the day-to-day administrative workload became untenable. He and his team were sending multiple emails to potential customers to confirm dates and times, and he decided to find an online booking system that would make their lives easier! 

Implementing Regiondo

Hamburg City Sailing offers scenic river tours along the River Alster, with beautiful views of this famous port city. Jürgen Jacobs, an avid sailor since the age of 10, took over the management of the company in January 2019. The Problem

Before the implementation of Regiondo, bookings, resources such as boats and skippers were organized via Excel. The Hamburg City Sailing would input data into a spreadsheet, which often led to errors and duplications. What’s more, management of the sailing boats was also done manually, which often meant limited flexibility and delays that impacted customer satisfaction.

Ingolstadt Grillschule was a passion project of Helmut Bräuherr, a trained cameraman from Ingolstadt, a small city 80km to the north of Munich. Like many Germans, he loves barbecuing and wanted to improve his grilling skills by taking classes. After looking online, he soon realized that there were no options to indulge his passion close to home. So what did he do? He decided to take matters into his own hands and open a grill school!

The Problem

Using his extensive network of contacts, Helmut was able to hit the ground running. As word spread about Ingoldstadt’s first grilling school, he received more and more booking requests. It quickly became apparent that managing booking confirmations offline wasn’t sustainable, an online solution was needed. The Trabant (also known affectionately as the Trabi) is synonymous with Berlin. This vintage car was the most common vehicle throughout East Germany from 1957 to 1990 and maintains a cult-like status today with tourists queuing up to participate in Trabi tours around Berlin. Trabant Berlin saw an opportunity to take advantage of this demand and started to offer city tours and transport for events across this hip and sprawling city. 

The Problem

The company started with 1 vehicle and grew to own a fleet of 35 cars, able to accommodate up to 140 people. Unfortunately, their way of working did not match their rapid business growth! Calendar apps and spreadsheets were used to record all reservations, and long email threads were written to discuss and confirm bookings. The time had come to upgrade to a more efficient and professional booking system. 

With more inventory to sell than ever and limit sales capacity, the management team was unsure how they could expand their market reach. Their employees were working non-stop on administrative tasks and confirmations so there was no time to focus on outbound sales, nor the reporting capabilities to derive business insight. 

Trabant Berlin has a huge variety of tours and equipment on offer. However, with no central system in place, the team was not able to take advantage of its diverse products and struggled to adequately explain their offerings to potential customers. 

The Solution
